Tewa Women United is excited to introduce you to our new A’Gin Project Youth Organizer, Veronica Ramirez!
Veronica is an Ohkay Owingeh resident who takes pride in her native involvement. She believes in empowering youth to succeed and create healthy communities, for our future. With over five years of experience working with youth engagement, community involvement, and agriculture, she is excited to contribute her talents, proficiency, and leadership toward our team efforts. She is also currently working on a bachelor’s in business administration through Northern New Mexico College. As a young Indigenous mother to a special needs boy, Greyson, Veronica actively participates in parenting education with a focus on cleft awareness and advocacy.
