The 2022 New Mexico Legislative Session: Overview

This year’s New Mexico Legislative Session runs 30 days, from January 18 to February 17, 2022. This short session focuses primarily on the state budget and allocations.

Tewa Women United and our community partners will be engaging with issues during the session that are related to our mission of embodying courageous spaces that center Indigenous women and girls to connect with ancestral knowingness, healing strengths, and lifeways for the wellbeing of all.

To participate in this session, it’s helpful to know your legislators. Find them here.
