April Gen Healing Book Club: Braiding Sweetgrass

April 24, 2025
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Online

You are invited to Tewa Women United’s Gen Healing Book Club!

We gather to explore the knowledge of local and Indigenous-authored books that foster discussions on cultural perspectives and diverse experiences. Themes regarding the safety of Indigenous people and land are common in our selections. By applying the lessons learned from these narratives, the book club transforms into a platform for raising awareness, cultivating empathy, and inspiring actionable steps within both the group and the broader community.

Our April book is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

If you love to dig into good books and good conversations, join us! Books are provided at no charge for those who commit to attending the virtual book club meeting. If you already have the book or choose to listen to it on Audible (or other platform) we can make room for extra participants. Please let us know when you register whether you need a book or not. We read fiction, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, and more!

Attendance at one meeting does not obligate you to attend future meetings, nor guarantee your spot. Space is limited. You’ll receive the Google Meet link after you register.
