Late summer is the perfect time to celebrate and learn about the abundance of plant medicine and nourishment in our yards! Join Tewa Women United and Barrios Unidos for a plant walk led by community herbalist Pilar Trujillo, who will share about herbal medicines (remedios) native to northern New Mexico, their uses, and preparations. As we gather at the Barrios Unidos headquarters in Chimayo, we will focus on plants found in the area. Our first 5 participants will receive a harvest basket to take home after the workshop!
This event is free and open to everyone.
