Birth Art Workshop with Gaibi Vollbracht

Birth Art Workshop with Gaibi Vollbracht
This virtual workshop on December 16th (1pm-3pm MST) is for every soon-to-be parent who is interested in exploring pregnancy and birth through a new lens. While it is important to prepare for all of the practical aspects of becoming a parent, it is also crucial that we take the time to explore our thoughts, feelings, and inherited beliefs about pregnancy and birth. The intention of making art in this way is to move beyond thinking and planning, into sensing and feeling, to clarify questions and clear up misconceptions, and to integrate all that practical information with personal growth through self-discovery. Don’t worry there is no show and tell, this art-making process is personal and no one else will see what you create. This is a great opportunity to slow down and listen in for your own wisdom. Come with an open mind and heart, and lots of curiosity. Please join us for a lovely afternoon of art-making and conversation!
To register please email: pilar@tewawomenunited.org
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 10 FAMILIES IN THE ESPANOLA AREA & TEWA-SPEAKING PUEBLOS! Participants will receive a package of art supplies that must be picked up at the TWU Office. REGISTER BY December 10th!
