This program is free and open to all youth in the Tewa homelands and Española Valley, ages 11 through 17.
These gender-based violence prevention curriculum sessions include working with a guest artist, skateboarding skill building, healthy communication and connections exercises, and much more. The curriculum is culturally-adapted for Native youth; the camp is open to all local youth, both Native and non-Native. All the fun with breakfast, lunch & snacks provided!
Camp A’Gin takes place every day from June 17 to 21, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Camp locations will be at Tewa Women United’s campus as well as Valdez Park, both in Española. When you register, you’ll receive a detailed schedule with locations for each day.
