Circle of Security: 8-Week Class for Parents/Caregivers
Thursdays, 5:30 – 7 pm
May 4 – June 22
Wouldn’t it be great if children came with an instruction manual?
Here it is!
Circle of Security is a FREE 8-week parenting curriculum with Kim Talachy that will transform and enhance your parent/child relationship and teach you:
• How to recognize and meet all your child’s physical and emotional needs starting from infancy
• How to manage your own triggers and how to choose reflection
• How to create a strong and trusting relationship that will create cooperative and confident children from infancy and as they grow
Circle of Security is free of cost and open to parents, caregivers, and all individuals who work with families, babies, & children
The Circle of Security is a curriculum that was developed through 60+ years of research on attachment. This curriculum is about basic human development that all children need in order to be in a safe and healthy relationship with their caregivers. Caregivers are the first relationship that children have. This relationship will set the standard for all future relationships including friendships, professional, romantic, and their own parent/child relationship one day. Children naturally go “around the circle” all day, everyday, it is actually hidden in plain sight. Being able to recognize the circle, meet our children’s needs on the circle, and manage our own triggers and negative reactions, builds a strong relationship between parents and caregivers, also known as Secure Attachment.
This class will be held in person every Thursday from May 4 through June 22, 5:30 – 7 pm
