Community Work Morning at the Española Healing Foods Oasis

July 15, 2023
8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Community members and garden supporters are welcome to join us at the Espanola Healing Foods Oasis for our monthly volunteer work day. These work days are an opportunity to lend a hand to the caretaking of the Healing Foods Oasis, and to learn more about our plants and growing practices.

From 8:30 am – 12 pm we will have an open window of work, guided by TWU Environmental Justice staff and our EHFO garden caretakers. Volunteer work will vary upon the current needs of the plants and space, and can be tailored to individuals’ interests or limitations.

Water, light refreshments, and tools are provided.

There is something for everyone to learn and do!

How to find the garden:

The Española Healing Foods Oasis is located next to the Española Public Library (313 N Paseo de Oñate) and behind City Hall. Park in the lot by the Lucero Center/Library, or on Vietnam Veterans Memorial Road, next to Valdez Park.
