Herbal Medicine Workshop Series: Part II with Jessica Lujan

July 17, 2022 – July 17, 2022
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Tewa Women United offers this four-workshop series as an invitation to come together to learn how to take care of ourselves with herbal medicine while understanding the need to give back to the herbs and their systems of living. As we face ongoing challenges to our health from COVID-19, smoke from wildfires, and changes to our environment seasonally, this traditional knowledge is more important than ever.

These workshops are open to everyone who wishes to learn how to take care of their health through the holistic approach of herbal medicine. Each workshop will focus on different parts of the body while using different remedies. Participants don’t need any prior knowledge of herbal medicine.

Workshop II, July 17th , 5 pm MST
Oxymel remedio with Jessica Lujan

In this workshop we will build relationships with herbs for the nervous system as well as those that provide support for grief, loss, and emotional wellness. Together we will make a remedio called an oxymel—an alcohol free extraction that is particularly good for children, pregnant folks, and those living in sobriety.
