Your Story, Your Pace: Grief and Healing in the Perinatal Period
Presentation by Roxanna Melendez, Gerard’s House
Please join us for this special gathering as we begin our new cycle of Perinatal Support Groups! These groups take place on the third Thursday of every month and are free for all community members.
This month we will explore ambiguous grief — grief that is hard to name but deeply felt. We’ll reflect on internal and external judgments related to “non-traditional” motherhood. The session will offer space for reflection, storytelling, and artistic expression. We’ll cultivate collective support from a place of compassion.
Roxanna Melendez is a bilingual professional with over 10 years of experience supporting youth and adults through different types of grief.
This is a free event but we do ask that you register ahead of time. For more information, please contact laura@tewawomenunited.org
