This event is a Valdez Park “takeover” by Tewa Women United. We’re representing the theme “make space, take space” in multiple ways and invite you to join us!
From the skate park to the Española Healing Foods Oasis, we’ll have activities for all ages, musical performances, and FREE school supplies from our partnering organizations.
There will also be food catered by Manko: Native American Fusion (with a limited number of free meals for youth and elders!), “Calm & Comfort” stations provided by Casa First, and the opportunity to hear about a number of youth programs in our Valley.
This event is open to people of all ages from our beloved community, with a special invitation to those who have felt uncomfortable “taking space” in Valdez Park. We’re here to support you!
