Lactation and Interpersonal Violence Training
with Siboney Rodriguez and Jessica Lujan

Join us for an informative training session exploring the essential role of lactation in infant–caregiver attachment and bonding, as well as its profound influence on the health of both infants and lactating parents. Participants will gain insight into how interpersonal violence and trauma can affect breastfeeding initiation, duration, and practices. This session provides a comprehensive overview that highlights the complex relationship between lactation, attachment, and parental health.

These trainings are ideal for people giving birth and birth professionals who engage with families across the perinatal landscape, lactation providers, birthworkers, CHWs, social workers, doulas, home visitors and any other allied professionals are encouraged to attend. Four CEUs available for CHWs.
