Tewa Women United invites you to our Skate Initiative Park Cleanup.
We will gather at the pergola at the Española Healing Foods Oasis, located inside Valdez Park (720 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Road, Espanola, NM) to clean the park, hang posters centering healthy masculinity, and have a skateboarding session.
There will also be a “Game of Skate” where you can win prizes including gift cards and a new skateboard.
Pizza and drinks will be provided!
Participants will have an opportunity to help with picking up trash, mulching the hill side, planting some plants, and weeding. Please bring your own work gloves and wear closed toed shoes. Dress according to the weather forecast.
